Python libraries for research data analysis

These libraries are made to ease the work of data analysis on Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) data. Also, to get rid of finding unique name for every project, I have added "ddr" as prefix to simple logical project name.

  • ddr_davis_data :- Contains classes and functions for accessing and plotting .vc7 and .im7 files obtained from Davis software.
  • ddr_analysis_tools:- Contains classes for performing analysis such as Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD), Spectral Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (SPOD), Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), Short-Term Fourier Transform (STFT) etc.
  • ddr_mfc:- This package helps in controlling Alicat make mass flow controllers (MFC) from python. This helps in integrating the MFC controll in Tkinter environment.
  • ddr_cantera:- Helping functions for calculations of air properties at different temperatures and pressures. For example, this was used in obtaining the Mach number of the flow at given flowrate and pressures at any given cross-section of the flow path.

Python libraries for financial data handling

This library is made to ease the work of downloading and handling the downloaded data for multiple securities.

  • finmetry:- This library contains functions to download the data using 5paisa account. As 5paisa account provides free access to the historical data (as on 26 Oct 2023), this library is built upon 5paisa python package. There are multiple sub-projects using this library, which can be found from its github page.

My Timeline

PhD Research area:- Experimental diagnostics in to-the-scale sector of gas turbine combustor.

Research engineering at fuel supply group:- Ensure the fullfulment of emission norms on new development of engines and vehicles, with the considertion of mileage optimization and vehicle class driveability.

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Internship:- Parts and tools storage system was manufactured for improvement in ergonomics of production line staff. Setup was conpact and could sustain the high loads of tools and parts.

Internship:- Understanding the basic functioning of thermal power plant & various sub sections of plant like boiler, turbine, cooling tower etc.
